This is a Fenton Dave Fetty hanging hearts on Willow green opalescent pitcher with a cobalt base. Made for the Connoisseur Collection in 2003. Limited to 1250.
Dave Fetty and his team of skilled craftsmen have truly recaptured the magic of Fenton Art Glass from the 20's.
To create this exceptional piece, a gob of Willow Green Opalescent glass is dotted with intense Cobalt Blue glass. During several re-heating processes, Fenton craftsmen use an ice pick to slowly pull the Cobalt into heart shapes and a pontil to pull threads of Cobalt through the hearts to give the pattern a vision of hanging hearts.
Stands 8.5" tall without base (9.5" with the base) and 6" wide
